Local charity partners
Diabetes UK is the official charity partner of VitalityMove but we also work with two charities local to Windsor and Chatsworth.
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is a local charity providing an innovative dedicated children’s hospice service for children (age 0-19 years) with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in Berkshire and the surrounding counties. The children they support have complex health needs and are living with an unpredictable future.
When the charity was founded in 2007 there was no service to support such serious ill children and their family. The Alexander’s Care Team now provide care and support in the family home and in 2017 the charity will open the first children’s hospice in Berkshire.
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service are there to support children and families throughout their journey and build memories to last forever.
The Devonshire Educational Trust (DET) devises and delivers the education programme at Chatsworth. DET uses the Chatsworth estate’s rich resources to inspire and engage young minds.
As well as welcoming 20,000 school visitors each year, we raise funds that enable many disadvantaged children and young people to experience the inspiring mix of history, art and the natural environment that Chatsworth has to offer.
